Firstly, the perfect fringe is only perfect if it’s personalized to suit your client. No matter how long you’ve been doing their hair, take the time to find out what your client wants during a consultation! Use this time to guide your client by learning about their hair type and face shape in order to come up with the perfect bang style.

Remind them that maintaining the look requires regular trims and the correct care and styling. If they really have to cut their fringe themselves (not advised), there are some considerations to keep in mind. First and foremost, they will need to use proper hairdressing scissors rather than nail scissors (which can lead to cringe-worthy results). Additionally, stress the significance of maintaining the same professionally created shape. When in doubt, stick to the general rule of not going wider than the arches of the eyebrows.

This will ensure that the sides of the hair (which are the length in the front) are not accidently cut off. For best results we really recommend offering your regular clients the option of rebooking with a stylist for a low charge or complimentary fringe trim. 6. Center Part Fringe: A Fusion of Trends

Center part fringes are expected to trend in 2024, blending the classic center part with various bang styles. This style works well with curtain bangs, blunt bangs, and wispier cuts. The key to retaining volume while avoiding those dreaded cowslicks is to apply a long-lasting product such as the Style Masters™ Volume Amplifier Mousse™. Then train the hair forward by finger drying the roots forward towards the face, paying particular attention to the root area. This technique is a quick but efficient way to smooth the roots; however, it must be done while the hair is still damp. 7. Curly fringe

Last but certainly not least is our personal favorite: the curly fringe that is full of curl personality! Loose, sexy curls make for bombshell bangs, but they can also be a little tricky to recreate thanks to their unexpected bounce. 

Our pro tip is always to cut coily hair when it’s dry. This helps you see the actual length it will be. Once you’re satisfied with the overall length and style, slightly dampen the hair again and then scrunch or dry it according to your client’s preference.
